On your recommendation I bought a compilation album with two DJ Shadow tracks on it 'In-flux' and 'Lost and Found'
Other artists include Attica Blues, R.P.M, LA Funk Mob, Palmskin Productions, U.N.K.L.E, and DJ Krush
I'll give it a few spins and let you know what I think - the name of the compilation is "Some Scientific Abstract Type Shit!" put out by Mo Wax

Cool man Dj Krush is also great. If theres 2 tracks I could reccomend you they would have to be 'Midnight in a perfect world' and the 14 minute 'what does your soul look like part 2' Both of these are off the endtroducing album.

Im listening to in flux now, its a long track with a great bass line and drum sample and a lot of stop starts, vocal, piano, sax, trumpet samples. Its also one of the few shadow songs with actualy skratchin in it (although their aint a lot of it on the track).
turn out the lights, relax and let it wash over you.
