Some of you have expressed interest in these things. My only finished body/neck experience here is with Carvin and Warmoth, who make excellent parts(and were originally called "Boogie" bodies, employed a young Wayne Charvel, and rumor has it made Eddie Van Halen his first "custom" body.A bit of celebrity gossip fer ye). Sorry if some of this is redundant. www.warmoth.com bodies and necks www.usacustomguitars.com former Warmoth employees www.carvin.com search under guitars&basses/guitar kits and parts-they make really nice necks and affordable parts www.musikraft.com custom shop of the wood supplier to many of the huge companies, inc. Gibson www.exoticwoods.com above mentioned wood supplier-nice and affordable selection www.lmii.com tools, materials, plans, and support-tend to be expensive, but some invaluable info and inventory-get the printed catalog www.stewmac.com parts, tools, everything-again,expensive,but large inventory-nice "tips" and info-get the printed catalog www.allparts.com tons of hardware parts Can't find the URL,but search for MIMF,the Musical Instrument Makers Forum, the most vital body of luthiery info on the net,to my knowledge, esp. the archives www.sustainiac.com Sustainiac sustainer "pickups" www.rmcpickup.com RMC make in-saddle piezo pickups for MIDI and 13 pin systems www.novaxguitars.com look in "novax nex"-overpriced really good idea www.agi-lace.com search in "guitars"-interesting concept(ergonomically pre-twisted necks!)-replacement necks available-cost? I've got tons more for those interested, mostly materials.
